Art Conservation & Restoration Services
Conservation & restoration experts specialize in preserving works of art and cultural artifacts. The aim is to safeguard the object and its history. If your paintings sustain damage, are deteriorated or in dirty condition, trying to repair or clean them yourself can permanently damage them.
Easel Paintings
Treatments can include: condition report of the painting before treatment, documenting before and after treatment of the artwork by photograph report, and restoration of the artwork in all the phases in ethical, methodological and professional way.
Frames & Gilding
Treatments can include: Consolidation of the structure, repairing broken parts, and/or recreating missing pieces, cleaning and re-gilding the frame as needed. Gold gilding of objects is also available using techniques such as water gilding and oil-gilding.
Wooden Objects
Treatment can include: Condition reporting and analysis of the object with photography documentation and a detailed assessment. Treatment of the support, cleaning, repairing or re-creation of missing parts, retouching and finishing with varnish if required.
